Unlike regular body tattooing, new permanant eyebrow methods are surface work. This means the pigment is only distributed on the first layer of your skin, resulting in the work eventually fading over time.
Ombre Powder is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo of the eyebrows. It is shading of the eyebrows with the use of a tattoo machine and cosmetic ink (pigment), being the darkest on the tail of the brows and gradually lighter towards the front of the brows. The results are for those who are looking for that defined and crispy, "makeup look" on their brows.
Combination brows is the combination of microblading, which are hair like strokes, and shading. This method gives the brow more natural results, although it is only suitable for clients with normal to dry skin.
For those with oily skin, the artist would recommend ombre powder.
Despite this, those with oily skin are still able to recieve microblading, however, those with this skin type may require more touch ups following the inital procedure.
Not everyone will have the same pain tolerance, therefore it is no gurantee the procedures won't hurt. Despite this, at the time of the procedure a topical numbing of no greater than 5% lidocaine will be distributed as needed to ensure the client's comfort.
Ombre and combination brows both take about 2-3 hours per client.
The average is timeframe for microblading is 1-3 years with touch ups in between, however, this may differ depending on the skin type you have.
Ombre powder can last anywhere from 3-5 years. Yearly touchups are recommended to maintain.
Everyone's skin is diffrent so the healing time may vary; however, on average it takes 7-10 days.
Yes! There will be scabbing, dryness, and itchiness following the procedures. You absolutely should not pick at or peel these scabs as you may pull ink with it.
A touchup is required 6-8 weeks from initial service. Yearly touchups are recommended for maintance.
There are different methods for healing a cosmetic tattoo.
